Problem: You can't start VDP Studio because you get the message "The current working directory is already activated for another System ID. Please choose a different working directory".

This can occur if you use a new systemID on a PC where DirectSmile is already installed and activated.

Solution: Here is a guideline what to do in this case. Please have your systemID ready.

1. Open the directory where the DirectSmile software is installed. This is normally

C:\Program Files\DirectSmile Generator

2. In the folder "System" you will find the file System.ID

3. Delete the "System.ID" file.

4. Start VDP Studio and go through the activation process.
